VHRxS Overview:

Vanderbilt Health RX Solutions, LLC is a wholly-owned subsidiary company of Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC). Our primary mission is to build patient-centered, clinically integrated specialty pharmacy programs in collaboration with our health system partners and employers. Founded on the proven success of VUMC’s internal specialty pharmacy, VHRxS draws on years of experience to help our partners build successful programs of their own. Our dynamic and growing team is seeking an experienced delivery consultant to help manage and deliver complex projects, support business development, and strengthen customer relationships with our health system partners.

Job Description:

The VHRxS Senior Manager, Healthcare Management Consulting role is highly visible and focuses on high-quality consulting and relentless execution of client engagements. A key focus is developing and strengthening relationships with VHRxS’s health system partners to ensure long-term success. The Senior Manager will report to the VHRxS Director Consulting Operations and Business Management.

Responsibilities:Ability to partner with customers/clients to implement solutions and product/services onsite and remotely to ensure customer success and key objectives are met.Successfully delivering multiple and/or complex projects with customer and internal teams in one or more service or solution areas.Ensure meaningful value is created through a strong mix of best-practice project planning, business planning, and relentless execution of key project initiatives.Create and review project deliverables, ensuring all work is of the highest quality.Develop and present key project updates to VHRxS leadership and customer stakeholders, often times with C-level customer audience.Utilize valuable project management business development skills, tools, templates, and frameworks.Developing project plans and managing teams and people to meet milestones and deadlines - Assist the Director with developing and nurturing strong relationships with health system partners, helping to proactively identify and resolve issues.Ability to complete deep analysis, data analysis, modeling, and present meaningful insights to clients.Execute internal business initiatives working with VHRxS businesses and VUMC.Develop trusted, long-term relationships with VHRxS team members, VUMC, VHPS businesses, and customers.Understand and gain deep knowledge of the pharmacy industry, specialty pharmacy and key players in the space and market dynamics.Embody the VUMC’s credo and strengthening the VUMC and team culture.Support business development activities, including presentation development, proposals, and site visits to Vanderbilt’s specialty pharmacy facility.Provide exceptional customer service and actively explore opportunities to strengthen relationships with existing partners through all phases of work.Co-create and deliver business strategies and project plans to meet the objectives of VHRxS’ health system partners.Support the Director in leading multiple health system partners to maximize specialty pharmacy potential, including meeting all project objectives on schedule.Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams of specialty pharmacy subject matter experts and third-party consulting partners.As a key part of delivering projects to health system partners, help lead communications to ensure open and consistent flow of information and high customer satisfaction.Technical Skills:Demonstrated expertise in MS Office Suite of products (i.e. Visio, Excel, PowerPoint).Project Management training and/or project lead experience of 8+ years.Demonstrated proficiency in use of project planning tools (MS Project, Smartsheets, Portfolio / Program Management Software).Demonstrated proficiency in using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software and tools.Ability to complete market sizing and financial analysis; familiarity with healthcare provider economics.Qualifications:5-7+ years of work experience, preferably in healthcare business, pharmacy, or management consulting / professional services.Proven success delivering multiple large-scale system, process, and business projects.Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams.Delivery experience driving business requirements, identifying gaps and omissions, and designing solutions.Requirements:Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university.Demonstrated track record of executing large and complex initiatives for clients.Ability to establish immediate credibility with team members within the company; can build consensus and achieve goals through influence.Excellent interpersonal/communication skills.Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-moving environment, and to demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset to growing the business and adapt to change.Ability to create high-quality deliverables and presentations.Creative thinking and ability to seek innovative solutions to complex technical/business problems.Travel ~50%, varies.Preferred Requirements:Master's degree and/or professional certifications (e.g., MBA).Vanderbilt Health recognizes that diversity is essential for excellence and innovation.
