Robust Network Solutions is hiring for an IT Support Engineer in San Mateo, CA.
We are currently seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to provide IT services and support to our customer's end users, maintain their infrastructure, and assist with ad-hoc requests. This role requires technological expertise and involves managing and supporting small to mid-sized business clients. You will be part of the primary team addressing escalated technical issues. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting computer problems on Windows and Mac systems and networking, servers, backup systems, Office 365, and more. Previous consulting experience is a big plus.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement IT systems, encompassing servers, networks, and storage solutions.Enhance performance, reliability, and security throughout infrastructure.Serve as technical lead with switches and firewalls, including Cisco, Meraki, SonicWALL, Fortinet, and HP.Maintain technology solutions, including LAN/WAN, servers, storage, virtualization, switches, routers, and cloud integrationsExperience in automating deployment, monitoring, and maintenance processes.Proficient in server hardware, RAID controllers, storage solutions, and troubleshooting. Skilled in server deployment for Domain Controllers, DNS, DHCP, File Servers, RDS, and more.Highly experienced with hypervisors, particularly VMware solutions and Microsoft's Hyper-V.Experienced in data protection, access controls, and vulnerability management solutions, with a demonstrated track record of hands-on implementation.Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.Minimum 5 years of experience as an IT Engineer or similar role.Ability to travel to local customer sites as needed.Ability to prioritize tasks and manage functions effectively.Strong communication skills.Outstanding interpersonal skills.Highly proactive with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.Since 2003, Robust Network Solutions has focused on excellent customer service and providing ongoing proactive and strategic IT management and support.
