We are looking for a skilled IT Support Specialist to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will act as the first point of contact for all software, hardware, and telephone-related issues. You will be responsible for assisting end-users, managing service requests, and ensuring timely resolution of IT problems. This role requires a proactive approach, strong technical knowledge, and excellent customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide primary support for software, hardware, and telephone issues.
Assist end-users with creating and managing service requests (Cherwell).
Follow up on open service requests and ensure timely resolution.
Upgrade and install new computers, and repair/reimage existing computers.
Troubleshoot various equipment including computers, printers, scanners, and telephones.
Maintain knowledge of network configuration and software installation.
Support user accounts and ensure security and compliance.
Implement and manage training programs for new technology and processes.
Maintain inventory protocols for tracking all equipment.
Provide technical solutions for PoE for Physical Phones or Network connectivity for Softphones.
Utilize Cisco Unified Call Manager, Cisco Certified Enterprise, and NICE call recording.
Use Microsoft Intune and manage both Android and iOS devices.
Provide Application/Windows OS support, installation, and configuration through SCCM.
Understand and implement data center technologies and cybersecurity principles.
Perform general system administration duties in a Windows AD environment.
Deliver excellent customer service and effectively communicate with team members and users.
Self-motivated to start and complete tasks independently.
Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years in IT support or a similar role.
Skills:
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft applications and a thorough understanding of data center technologies.
