ROLE:

Innovative Reasoning, LLC (IR) is recruiting qualified Security Support Specialists to support the Security Division at the Marine Corps Combat Development and Integration Command, Marine Corps Base Quantico, Virginia.

Responsibilities/Duties:Perform access control functions to ensure entry control points are monitored, personnel clearances are verified with appropriate badges exchanged, and only authorized personnel are provided access to secure area/SCIF within the General Raymond Davis Center.Open/close the General Davis Center, to include the SCIF.Verify clearances using the Defense Information System for Security (DISS), Scattered Castles, or other authorized means.Issue visitor and temporary badges to visitors and CD&I employeesComplete CD&I visitor logs; validate Information System Authorization Access. Requests (background investigation and clearance information portion); update access rosters.Submit and track information technology helpdesk tickets for the SCI network; report all security incidents to the CD&I Security Division.Screen incoming and outgoing documents and/or packages that are hand carried by visitors or employees.Conduct random anti-terrorism measure (RAM) inspections on personnel entering the SCIF.Become familiar with and utilize CD&I's Intrusion Detection System (IDS) and alarm station; conduct detailed turnovers with CD&I Headquarter Staff Duty Officer (HSDO)Conduct and complete end-of-day checklists and associated security formsSupplemental Duties:

Access/handle unclassified and/or classified information (up to the TS/SCI level) via Joint World-wide Intel Communication System (JWICS) terminals within CD&I designated Government workspaces.Supervisory Responsibilities:

NoneEducation/Qualifications and Certifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent.Effective oral and written communication skills.Knowledge of common commercial computer applications (Outlook, Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel, etc.) and peripheral equipment to produce a variety of documents, charts, graphs and briefing materials and devices/equipment (tablets, smartphones, etc.) to present and execute training.Possess/maintain a current active final Top Secret Facility Clearance Level with SCI eligibility and without any special limitations that restrict access.Possess an in-scope (per current DoD 5-year reinvestigation requirement), favorable, Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) / T5 investigation (to include SBPR, PPR or T5R).Current enrollment in the DoD Continuous Evaluation (CE)/Continuous Vetting (CV) program, adjudicated for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility by the DoD Consolidated Adjudicative Services (DoD CAS) without conditions, exceptions, or waivers prior to performance under this contract.Possess a valid picture identification card issued by a State or Federal agency.Expected to sign a Non-Disclosure Form.Experience:

3-5 years of security experiencePrior military experience preferredLocation:

Work Environment:

The contractor will work in a mixed civilian/military environment providing amphibious raid training to deploying units.Work conditions can vary from a busy office environment to fieldwork, both subject to frequent interruptions. Additional specific details related to working conditions may be outlined in the Performance Work Statement or Client Contract.May occasionally be required to work non-routine office hours, travel to other locations, or work extended hours in support of training events or exercise.Physical Demands:

Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching, and bending throughout the workday. Requires constant use of hands and fingers to feel, handle or operate objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms. Currently possess an active U.S. Top Secret Facility Clearance Level with SCI eligibility required.
