As a Senior Product Manager, your role will be to develop and execute the product portfolio strategy for multiple or more complex product categories in existing and new regions. You will define the vision and lead development and execution of a rolling three year product plan and portfolio strategy including new product introductions, product lifecycle management, cost/warranty reductions and profitability. You will define product and technology roadmaps by evaluating and analyzing key customer needs, and market trends and competitive intelligence. You will manage technical communication and coordination between all business functions.
You will do this by:
Creating and communicating product line strategy, as well as the justification and prioritization of new product development initiatives; synthesizes multiple product plans for multiple product lines into one comprehensive plan Driving the business case for product development programs within the New Product Development (NPD) Process and coaching others to successfully navigate the process recommending and implementing new efficiencies in the process Overseeing the product configuration, spec change and SKU count optimization processes; executing within configuration tools accordingly Defining product and technology roadmaps by evaluating and analyzing key customer/end-user needs and product/market trends; presenting relevant research and findings to Senior Leaders. Partnering to build the long range planning process and the development of the rolling 3 year product plans and roadmaps for innovation planning 5+ years out for the platform. Developing capital budgets and drives resource planning and allocation decisions based on product line priorities Partnering with marketing to define the Voice of Customer (VoC) and go-to-market strategy for new products/lines or changes Developing and delivering product and business strategy presentations; provides product knowledge for sales calls, sales literature/documentation and trade shows Maintaining and reporting out on product line metrics in alignment with the Product Management Review process Leading and participating in cost/warranty reduction and profit improvement efforts Partnering with Operations and Supply Chain to improve product cost and quality Performing a full range of managerial responsibilities which may include but not be limited to: interviewing, hiring, coaching and developing employees; planning, assigning and directing work; EEO/AA; performance management; department budget Performs other duties as assigned You are the type of person who is/has:

Ability to collaborate and influence within and outside the organization Superior management skills to direct and mentor Ability to independently lead major initiatives Expert business acumen, ability to build/evaluate financial business cases and understanding of financial principles including Return On Investment, Internal Rate of Return and Economic Value Added to manage multiple product lines Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location Education
Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field, or equivalent education and experience Experience Requirements
Minimum seven years of experience in product management, new product development, manufacturing, marketing or related field Three years experience with global markets preferred Physical & Environmental Requirements
