We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team! This position will be focused on testing new custom software and upgrades of legacy applications for external clients. This QA Engineer will be joining a professional services team which values collaboration and communication, pays attention to detail, and has a consultative mindset.
Responsibilities:
Create detailed defect tickets upon discoveryCommunicate status to project team membersDevelop testing strategies across a wide variety of web and mobile applicationsCreate test plans and steps (manual and automated)Implement and execute test plans and scripts (manual and automated)Identify test automation toolsIdentify browsers (including versions) and hardware devices to be supported and coordinate device acquisition with project manager or directorParticipate in story refinement and definition of acceptance criteria with project team membersEstimate testing effort based on requirementsSupport end-users during User Acceptance TestingProvide troubleshooting and technical support for various software applicationsRecommend and execute continuous improvement initiatives related to the Quality Assurance process
