Prospecting Coordinator

Position Summary: The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research ("MJFF") is seeking top talent for its Prospecting Coordinator position. Reporting to the Director of Fundraising Enablement, this role focuses on supporting Prospecting Research and Strategy, within the Fundraising Strategy & Operations department.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

Develop proficiency in prospect research tools, including MJFF's customer relationship management ("CRM") database Salesforce, wealth screening platforms such as iWave, and other online research databases like GivingDNA, among othersSupport the Prospecting team's fulfillment of research requests from Development team members as needed, including creating and updating detailed research profiles on major and prospective individual, corporate, and foundational donors, creating event look books, researching event attendee lists, and identifying prospecting for advancement portfolios and development outreachSupport the proactive identification of potential prospects through regular research, data analysis, and reporting, informed by department goals and objectives. Analysis will include capacity ratings, indicators of interest in the organization's programs, and connections to other key constituentsMonitor dashboards to maintain quality of data related to revenue and constituentsSupport Fundraising Strategy & Operations team members in the creation and execution of cross-team prospecting research to support the expansion of MJFF's prospecting poolDevelop knowledge of, respect for, and skills to engage and understand the work of the Foundation to best vet and assign prospects for cultivationProvide general operational support to prospect research projectsDevelop proficiency in internal operational technology platforms including but not limited to; JIRA, Domo, and Asana to support prospecting processesQualifications and Skills:

Knowledge in supporting development teams, preferably at a non-profitAnalytical mindset with knowledge in how data supports efficienciesCollaborative work style with an eagerness to learn from other team membersExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent Microsoft Office skillsKnowledge of prospecting tools a plusSalary and Benefits:

The salary range for this position is $55,000 - $65,000. In addition to salary, The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:
