We are seeking a motivated and experienced IT Support Role to join our IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing advanced technical support to end-users in our newly operational manufacturing facility located in Dallas, TX. You will troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues, resolve network problems, and ensure the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure. This role will also involve supporting Fortinet networking equipment and Google Workspace administration.Duties & Responsibilities :Provide timely and effective technical support to end-users via phone, email, and in-person interactionsTroubleshoot and resolve complex hardware and software issues, including operating system errors, application malfunctions, and network connectivity problemsInstall, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripheralsAssist in the deployment and management of new technologies and IT projectsMaintain accurate records of support requests and resolutionsDevelop and maintain technical documentation and user guidesParticipate in on-call rotation to provide after-hours support as neededSupport and maintain Fortinet networking equipment, including WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, switches, access points and securityAdminister Google Workspace, including user management, email settings, and security policiesSupport of disaster recovery and backup solutionsTroubleshoot issues to determine root cause and implement permanent solutionsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience in IT support or a similar roleStrong knowledge of Windows, Linux, and Mac operating systems, as well as Microsoft Office Suite and other common applicationsExperience with Active Directory, network troubleshooting, and hardware repairExperience with Fortinet networking equipment and Google Workspace administrationExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical usersSelf-motivated and works with minimal direction and ability to work as part of a teamAble to prioritize and manage assignments with varying timelinesPreferred Qualifications :Certifications in relevant technologies, such as Google Workspace, CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional Certifications in relevant technologies.Fortinet NSE certificationsExperience with mobile device management and cloud technologiesExperience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentProven ability to thrive in a rapidly changing and demanding environmentExperience in Change Management:Proven track record of successfully implementing and managing change initiatives within an organization.
