Duties/Responsibilities
The graphic design intern supports both the digital marketing and brand strategy team and the multimedia and graphic design team within the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences Office of Marketing and Communications. They will have the opportunity to build a strong, diverse design portfolio featuring digital design, social media graphics, and printed display materials that will support the marketing and outreach efforts of one of the largest colleges within the University of Georgia.

Minimum Qualifications
Position Summary
The Office of Marketing and Communications, a support unit for the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, will hire a candidate with a demonstrated knowledge of digital and print design. The position will focus primarily on producing digital and print designs for the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences. Exceptional design skills, a great attitude, and visually oriented problem-solving are must-have qualities. The ideal candidate is available to work 15 hours per week during normal business hours. Work hours are flexible and will be structured around class schedules and related deadlines.
Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification in Position
• Is proficient with Canva, InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.• Can execute creative solutions to design assignments in a timely manner.• Can incorporate client content specifications into pre-existing design templates and follow UGA's visual brand guidelines.• Is interested in learning metadata best practices and content management.• Is detail-oriented, meets deadlines and can work independently.
