Position Title: Sales Engineer - Electrostatic Precipitators

Department: High Voltage Business Unit

Location: Pensacola, FL, Hybrid Remote

Reports To: Regional Manager, High Voltage, Hydrogen

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and technically skilled Sales Engineer to drive the sales of our power supply and service portfolio for Electrostatic Precipitators (ESPs). This role is for you who thrive at the intersection of engineering and sales, with the ability to understand complex customer needs, propose technical solutions, and manage the entire sales process from lead generation to contract closure. If you have a strong engineering background and experience in selling solutions to capital intensive industries or experience in air pollution control or related industries, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development:

Identify and develop new business opportunities for ESPs in target markets, such as power generation and other heavy industries.

Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Conduct market segmentation to identify potential customers, industry trends, and the competitive landscape.

Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to the Sales Manager

Technical Consultation:

Provide technical expertise to customers, helping them understand the benefits of KraftPowercon’s technology solutions and how they meet specific requirements.

Collaborate with the engineering team to develop customized solutions that address client needs.

Prepare and deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients.

Proposal Development:

Collaborate with engineering teams to develop detailed proposals, including technical specifications, pricing, and timelines.

Respond to Requests for Proposals with accurate and compelling offers.

Negotiate terms and conditions with clients to secure sales contracts.

After-Sales Support:

Be the point of contact and coordinate with the service teams to ensure the successful installation and commissioning of our power supply solutions.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in technical sales to capital-intensive industries such as power generation, or industrial equipment sectors. Experience in air pollution control

is meriting .

Technical Skills:

Strong understanding of electrostatic precipitators and their applications. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Sales Skills:

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Experience in value selling. Excellent negotiation and closing skills.

Communication Skills:

Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly.

Problem-solving:

Ability to identify client challenges and develop innovative solutions to meet their needs.

Travel:

Willingness to travel to meet with clients, attend industry events, and visit project sites.
