Qualifications:

Position Summary

Under minimal supervision, the Business Intelligence Analyst will assist with query development, task automation, and reporting needs for the Dermatopathology Division within Sonic Healthcare USA. This role will report to the medical director of the division. The position will require extensive use of Microsoft Excel, Excel Macros, SQL, and BI tools such as Metabase *or * Tableau.

Job duties and responsibilities

Develop and manage BI solutionsIdentify and automate reporting needs of internal customersProvide reports, processes and Excel VBA applications through the application life cycleCollaborate with business usersIdentify opportunities to improve processes and strategies with technology solutionsIdentify development needs in order to improve and streamline operationsDesign new data collection models to better collect informationAnalyze business processes and requirementsCreate and maintain documentation including requirements, design and user manualsIdentify opportunities to improve processes and strategies with technology solutionsIdentify development needs in order to improve and streamline operationsBusiness Intelligence Analyst requirements

Skills and Abilities

SQL Server skills including SQL objects development, performance tuning, data analysis and integrationKnowledge in Technology such as C#, VSTO, SharePoint, SAS, Power BI, Tableau, Metabase, MEAN Stack are a big plusAbility to read code and support applications, reports and processesAbility to contribute both independently and as part of a teamExcellent listening, communication, interpersonal and presentation skillsExtremely proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workplace or related software program.Extremely organized with great attention to detail.Ability to adapt to change.Excellent customer service skills.Ability to learn quickly and to creatively solve new problems.Ability to act as a team player. Displays diplomacy and tactfulness in all communications.

Education and Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance or similarAt least three years of related experience.OR any acceptable combination of education, certification(s), and experience.

Physical Requirements

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.Occasional overnight travel
