The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for managing sales activities in a designated region, building, and maintaining customer relationships, achieving sales targets, and developing sales strategies to drive business growth.Key Responsibilities:Establish and maintain relationships with clients.Manage perishable food broker network within the region.Educate clients and attend trade/food shows to conduct product demonstrations.Generate potential leads for future sales.Set and exceed quotas.Track and report sales.Demand planning.Work with customer service team overseeing orders and being a liaison for communicating issues with accounts.Approving promotional activities and handling account deductions.Communicate effectively with other members of the team.

Qualifications:Sales Management, Business Development, and Customer Relationship Management skillsExperience in setting and achieving sales targetsStrong negotiation and communication skillsAbility to analyze sales data and market trendsProven track record of successful sales performanceExcellent organizational and time management skillsExperience in the food industry or consumer perishable goods sector is a plusBachelor's degree7 to 10 years of sales experienceCPG broker management backgroundExperience calling on independent grocery accounts and regional grocery accounts in and around Texas, Lousianna, Oklahoma and TennesseeSkilled in all Microsoft Office and Outlook.Experience with IRI and Nielson Data analysis.Generate presentations and present data to clients.Travel required- up to 50% per week
