Overview

Position: Classified Linux Systems Administrator IIILocation: Albuquerque, NMSalary Range: $81,600 - $91,600 per yearClearance: Active Q ClearanceKeyLogic is seeking a Linux System Admin III to perform task based and project-based work.Responsibilities:You will receive tasks from a variety of sources to include Email, IM, phone, ticketing systems and in person.You will self-identify projects and also receive them from the customers.You will perform server administration, software installs and configuration, hardware installs and configuration, software troubleshooting and problem resolution.You will work directly with RedHat Satellite. We use various methods to record work done (ticketing system, SharePoint, etc..)Candidate will need the ability to partner with other IT teams such as corporate cyber security, firewall and proxy teams.You will work directly with vendors to solve complex hardware and software issues.All work will need to be performed onsite due to the nature of this work.

Qualifications:* BS/BA in CS or IT related field and two (2) years of IT experience. Note - an additional 6 years of experience and be substituted in lieu of degree.* Linux Server System Administration & UNIX experience at least 2 yearsRHEL system administration experience.* Familiarity with computer network protocols and network management technologies* Skill utilizing software diagnostic tools and the ability to conduct appropriate troubleshooting processes and conduct appropriate upgrades* Ability to define systems requirements based on user/client needs, cost, and required integration with existing applications, systems, or platforms.* Ability to define technical standards and functionality tests, and to develop specifications, prototypes, or initial user guides.* Experience in customer service, good with communication skills with customers, vendors, and database administrators* US Citizen and on-site* Must have an active DOE Q Clearance Minimum to start or DoD Top Secret with reciprocity.Desired:* Prior working experience with Department of Energy or Department of Defense infrastructure* RHEL Satellite administration experience* STIGS implementation experience* Ability to research, assemble, and evaluate information or data regarding industry practices or applicable regulatory changes and recommend sound, practical solutions to complex issues.* Automation platforms such as Ansible, VmWare, Python at least 1-3 years* Experience leading and implementing large technical solutions* RHCE/CCNA* Experience in Bash, PowerShell, or other scripting language for automating System Admin tasks or troubleshooting existing processes* Experience with container technology, such as Kubernetes, RKE, Docker, etc.* Virtualization, servers, storage, and networking equipment experience* ESXI experienceAbout KeyLogic:Supporting critical missions at the intersection of data and science, KeyLogic provides mission management, systems analysis, data analytics, digital transformation, and cybersecurity to customers in the energy, federal civilian, and defense sectors, with a 20+ year portfolio of successes supporting DOE, DOC, EPA, DOD, DHS, FBI, and other federal agencies challenged with complex missions.
