This is a remote positionSummaryThe Business Development role drives significant revenue growth and biopharma client acquisition by identifying and developing new business opportunities within the real-world data and analytics market. The Business Development role leverages deep industry expertise to build and maintain strong client relationships, leading to the successful closure of complex deals in various sales cycles. This position serves as a role model for the broader organization by consistently exceeding performance metrics, sharing best practices, and shaping an industry leading business development team.What You'll DoDevelop and Execute Biopharma Partnerships:

Lead the development and execution of long-term, strategic partnerships with key biopharma clients to drive mutual growth and innovation in Real-World Evidence.Drive Sales and Account Management:

Create and execute annual account plans to achieve sales targets. Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned biopharma clients.Subject Matter Expertise:

Become a recognized expert in Target RWE's data and analytics offerings and capabilities. Effectively communicate these to advance client research priorities.Collaborate and Deliver:

Work closely with internal teams (e.g., data science, HEOR, epidemiology, medical affairs) to ensure high-quality project delivery that exceeds client expectations.Identify and Capture New Business Opportunities:

Proactively identify new market opportunities and develop strategic plans to expand Target RWE''s footprint within the biopharma industry.Promote Product Innovation:

Drive product innovation by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to develop and launch new RWE solutions that address evolving client needs.Mentor and Develop Team:

Coach and mentor team members, fostering a high-performance business development culture that becomes a talent magnet.Advocate for Clients:

Represent client needs internally, influencing product development, go-to-market strategy, and process improvement.Drive Organizational Effectiveness:

Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and enhance the overall value proposition for clients.Your Education and ExperienceBachelor's Degree (preferred discipline in biological sciences, engineering, biostatistics, health economics, or similar)10+ years of experience in client-facing roles of increasing responsibility, delivering products, services, or analyses to biopharma companies, in organizations such as: life sciences-oriented consulting firms, healthcare focused analytics and/or outcomes research firms, healthcare technology companiesExtra Credit

Direct experience collaborating with teams focused on real-world data science, epidemiology, HEOR, or medical affairsExperience with drug development plans and commercial strategies that leverage real-world clinical dataAn Advanced degree (MBA, MS, PhD, MPH)Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesYou have had experience pitching client solutions, including developing RFP responses and participating in RFP presentationsYou have broad ranging disease area expertise that aligns with Target RWE priorities (liver disease, dermatology, gastroenterology, etc.)You have a track record of success in developing long term business relationships with biopharma companies in a strategic and abstract space and experience owning high-profile client relationshipsYou are interested in engaging directly with biopharma partners to help advance their research and business related strategiesTotal RewardsThe salary range estimated for this position is $160,000 - $190,000 per year. This position will also have a commission plan. Compensation will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills and experience.
