Come join us.Duties and Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain automated test suites for UI, API, and back-end systems using frameworks like Cypress, Playwright, WebDriver IO, and languages such as TypeScript, JavaScript, and Python.
Interpret and report testing results, advocating for quality at every development phase.
Identify, document, and track bugs through resolution.
Ensure UI design adherence by reviewing product interfaces.
Perform manual testing where automation is not feasible.
Serve as the technical expert for testing strategies, guiding engineers on resolving issues within test suites and advising on best practices.
Lead quality improvement efforts by defining test strategies and implementing robust automated test suites.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to derive testing requirements, creating test plans, cases, and reports.
Work closely with product management to gather business requirements and align them with test strategies to ensure high-quality features.
Champion quality metrics and lead efforts to improve the quality of deliverables across engineering teams.
Understand the technical architecture and performance impacts, ensuring high-quality product/feature releases.
Promote a quality-driven engineering culture that supports rapid and confident product releases.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in creating and maintaining automated test cases and executing test suites using TypeScript, JavaScript, Cypress, Playwright, or WebDriver IO.
5+ years of experience integrating testing with CI/CD pipelines for cloud-native applications.
Expertise in testing UI, APIs, and back-end data processing services.
Experience with relational SQL databases, such as Postgres or MySQL.
Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Proactive in identifying and implementing improvements to testing processes.
Must be located in the Greater Seattle area or willing to relocate.
Additional Details
This position is based out of our office in the Belltown neighborhood of Seattle, WA (hybrid work schedule).
The estimated compensation for this position is $150,000 - $170,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. In addition, this position is eligible for an annual bonus and an equity grant.
