Position Responsibilities: Reporting to the CEO for an agency/owner operator-based company with offices throughout the 48 contiguous states, offering truckload services including flatbed, vans, and specialized equipment. Additional service offerings include freight brokerage, LTL shipping, specialized over-dimensional, logistics project management, expedited service and a full array of logistics management services. With revenue more than $200 mil, the company has 400 tractors, over 1000 trailers, 75 employees, operating from 82 agent facilities / 3 corporate offices across the United States. This Chief Financial Officer will oversee all aspects of financial management, human resources, information technology, risk management, and accounting operations. The CFO will be a key member of the executive leadership team, reporting directly to the CEO, and will play a crucial role in driving the company's financial strategy and administrative operations. Responsibilities include: Financial Strategy and Planning:

Assist in developing and executing the company's financial strategy in line with overarching business objectives. Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and members of the executive management team. Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning efforts. Financial Management:

Oversee all aspects of financial reporting, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, billing, and collections. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies. Manage cash flow, investment activities, and financial risk management. Manage bank and other financing relationships. Human Resources and IT Management:

Supervise human resources functions, including recruitment, training, on-boarding, compensation, benefits, and employee relations. Oversee information technology systems, conversion of financial accounting system and infrastructure to ensure efficiency, training and maximizing use. Risk Management:

Assist in identifying and mitigating financial and operational risks. Implement policies and procedures to safeguard company assets. Strategic Leadership:

Collaborate with senior management to develop long-term plans and strategic initiatives. Evaluate and advise on the financial impact of strategic decisions. Stakeholder Communication:

Present financial reports and analysis to Executive team, board of advisors and other stakeholders on an agreed to schedule. Communicate financial performance and strategy effectively to internal and external stakeholders. Background Required: Proven experience as a CFO, VP of Finance, or similar role in a complex organization (5 years) In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws, and best practices. Experience with mergers and acquisitions, financial forecasting, and risk management. Experience overseeing HR and IT functions. Transportation/Logistics industry experience P&L & Balance Sheet Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting Payroll, Billing, Credit & Collections Cost & cash flow analysis Cost reduction & containment programs Key Metrics development & tracking Accounting software – (i.e.: QuickBooks) Transportation Software – (i.e.: Transport Pro) Computer Literate: Microsoft Suite (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) Education: BS or BA degree in Accounting Residence: Trevose, PA (relocation assistance) Background Preferred (but not required): Advanced degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, or related field (MBA preferred). CPA, accounting or equivalent certification.
