Interested?Here's what you'd do:As an IT System Administrator, you will help the IT Infrastructure and Engineering teams deploy solutions to support the business.You will be responsible for deploying secure configurations and software, ensuring systems are built with security and resiliency at their forefront.You will serve as a point of escalation for support and troubleshooting customer issues.You will ensure our systems are ready and available for the rest of the organization.Contribute to coordinating and planning various IT projects to continually improve the organization's infrastructure and systems.Installing Linux and Red Hat operating systems and software and testing, evaluating, and implementing system patches and upgrades.Proactively maintain and develop all Linux infrastructure technology, including Ubuntu, CentOS, or Red Hat.Develop and maintain operational standards for Microsoft computing across Microsoft products, including M365, InTune, AAD (Azure Active Directory), and AD (Active Directory).Configuring, optimizing, fine-tuning, and monitoring operating system software and hardware.Conducting server builds.Analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving system hardware, software, and networking issues.Performing system backups and recovery.Support LAMP/ WAMP Stack.Ensure system compliance with all applicable policies and procedures.Provide input on ways to improve the environment's stability, security, efficiency, and scalability.Support IT Operations in developing processes and runbooks.Support the maturity of sound standards, practices, and procedures across the IT Organization.Provide escalated support, mentoring, and technical leadership to other engineers within the organization.Develop documentation and runbooks that support the system.Assess systems, develop consolidation strategies, and make recommendations.Here's what you'll get:- Pay: $40/hr.- Hours: 40 hours/week, M-F, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM- Length: 3-6 month contract with opportunity of extension or direct hireSounds like a good fit?APPLY TODAYAbout Acara SolutionsAcara is a premier recruiting and workforce solutions provider-we help companies compete for talent. Here's what you'll need:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.Minimum of 5 years' experience in Information Technology as a System AdministratorMinimum of 1 year of experience as a system administrator working with Linux/Red HatMinimum of 1 year of experience patching serversMinimum of 1 year of experience designing and implementing secure configuration solutions for Windows and Linux OS and Azure/AWS environments.
