You will be responsible for deploying secure configurations and software, ensuring systems are built with security and resiliency at their forefront. You will serve as a point of escalation for support and troubleshooting customer issues. You will ensure our systems are ready and available for use by the rest of the organization.Principal AccountabilitiesContribute to the coordination and planning of various IT projects intended to continually improve the organization's infrastructure and systems.Installing Linux, and Red Hat operating systems, and software, and testing, evaluating, and implementing system patches and upgrades.Proactively maintain and develop all Linux infrastructure technology, including Ubuntu, CentOS, or Red Hat.Develop and maintain Microsoft computing operational standards across Microsoft products including M365, InTune, AAD (Azure Active Directory), and AD (Active Directory).Configuring, optimizing, fine-tuning, and monitoring operating system software and hardwareConducting server buildsAnalyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving system hardware, software, and networking issuesPerforming system backups and recoverySupport LAMP/ WAMP StackEnsure system compliance with all applicable policies and procedures.Provide input on ways to improve the stability, security, efficiency, and scalability of the environment.

Support Responsibilities:Support IT Operations in developing processes and runbooksSupport the maturity of sound standards, practices, and procedures across the IT OrganizationProvide escalated support, mentoring, and technical leadership to other engineers within the organization.Develop documentation and runbooks that support the system.Assess systems and develop consolidation strategies and make recommendations.

Education and/or ExperienceBachelor's Degree in a Computer Science field or appropriate work experience in Information Technology.5+ years as a system administratorExperience working on the application of NIST 800-171 Controls and best practices.Experience working in IT and OT environments.Experience with Microsoft stack technologies including Azure, Azure AD, and Microsoft 365.IT Certifications: CompTIA Data+, Linux+, Server+, SysOps Administrator. MS Certified Associate/ExpertRed Hat Certified System Administrator

QualificationsExcellent Problem solver; able to prioritize and coordinate between tasks.Can design and implement secure configuration solutions for Windows and Linux OS', along with Azure/AWS environments.Experience in designing Active Directory and Group PoliciesExperience with SQL and querying databases
