About the role

We are looking to add a

Level 2 IT Technician

to our growing

IT Support Department . As a

Level 2 IT Technician

you will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing hardware and software components of our organization. This is an on-site position reporting out of our ESS Metron location in Denver, CO with occasional travel to our Castle Rock, CO office as needed.

Essential FunctionsProvide support to users by being the first point of contact for error reporting.Resolve Tier I and Tier II technical issues related to computers, phones, tablets, and other office systems.Anticipate and report the cost of replacing or updating computer items.Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues on Windows, macOS and iOS operating systems.Contribute to creating and maintaining documentation for a knowledge base and self-service portal.Manage inventory and users in various systems.Conduct audits.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Experience with Windows server administration.Experience with Azure AD and Microsoft 365.Understanding of SOX Compliance and IT General Controls.Strong teamwork and communication skills.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Working knowledge of relevant operating systems, software and programming.Good organization, time management and prioritization.Interest in learning new tech and trying new methods and processes.Education and Experience

Associate's degree preferred in Information Technology or similar field; or equal amount of years in experience.Previous experience in an IT support role, 3+ years preferred.3+ years' experience with Windows and MacOS workstation support and security.3+ years' experience with Ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Zendesk, etc.), SLAs (measurement, reporting), Incident, Change, Asset, Problem Management.Networking knowledge.Cloud Infrastructure.Professional certifications are a plus (Microsoft Certified IT Professional).Compensation and Benefits

The pay range for this role is:

65,000 - 75,000 USD per year (ESS Metron)
