Information Services Senior Business Analyst
The role of the Product Owner is to organize, prioritize, assess work, and act as an ambassador to customers for a scrum team. As the primary point of contact for customer needs, they utilize their communication and requirements gathering skills to understand customer needs and translate those needs into actionable product backlog items with clear acceptance criteria. The Product Owner also plans releases, follows progress, and analyzes end user preferences and feedback. Additionally the Product Owner role evangelizes the product capabilities to customers to support adoption and drive feedback on future desired capabilities.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Acts as a liaison between IT and business units for the development, implementation and support of new systems and enhancement under minimal guidance. Actively leads and facilitates the gathering of customer needs and objectives to evaluate new applications or enhance existing applications. Self-directs oneself to document and test systems requirements and solve complex problems and develop innovative solutions working collaboratively with the development team. Prepares communications and makes presentations on solution alternatives and system enhancements. Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective using existing solutions. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. STRONGLY PREFERRED:
Deep communication skills centered around eliciting customer needs, negotiating prioritizations, gathering importance/value to the business and driving understanding within technical teams that importance/value. Understanding or experience with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Some technical knowledge around technologies such as Databricks and Airflow with an understanding of the concept of a modern lakehouse as a technical product. REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience. 5-7 years of experience required. Requires experience in various business areas and applications (package and custom). Requires Experience implementing or supporting applications (ERP, HR payroll, finance). Requires experience with MS Office (PowerPoint, Vizio, Word). Requires experience facilitating/ leading requirement gathering sessions. Requires experience with process modeling requirements and test plans. About Us
