Jr. Application Systems Analyst .Responsibilities

Position Summary/ Primary PurposeThe Jr. Application System Analyst will assist in the maintenance and optimization of software applications. They will work closely with the IT team to troubleshoot issues, implement updates, and ensure the smooth operation of company systems.

Major Areas of ResponsibilityProvide support for application incidents and problems.

Assist in the development and implementation of new software applications.Collaborate with senior analysts to understand system requirements and features.Document application processes for maintenance and upgrades.Participate in the testing and deployment of application updates.Produce application documentation and user training materials.Help train end users to operate new or modified programs, reports and analytic tools.Help monitor, maintain and administer various business applicationsKnowledgeUnderstanding of software development life cycle.Familiarity with database management and data analysis.Knowledge of programming languages such as SQL, Java, or Python is a plus.Knowledge of computer programming concepts and languages with the ability to read and understand basic codeBasic understanding of business analysis and system design best practicesCompetency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Visio.Basic knowledge of hardware, network and operating systems
