Description:
Seeking a motivated
Senior Software Developer to join our Patriot team in Huntsville, AL on the Redstone Arsenal. We are searching for curious problem solvers looking to continue to grow in their knowledge and are lifelong learners!
Responsibilities:Develop and debug software using C/C++Develop, test, troubleshoot, and improve source codeWork within an agile environment to design, write, and test Object Oriented software (SW) components/applications through the entire SW lifecycleTroubleshoot issues on Linux operating systems including dependency issues, version compatibility, and installation bugs on platforms disconnected from the internetMentor young SW Engineers within the teamBuild code using GNU MakeRequired Skills:
Strong experience programming in C/C++Experience with code creation and development using GNU MakeExperience with Link-16 (MIL-STD 6016) JREAP (MIL STD 3011)Experience with socket programming (IP TCP/UDP) and serial programming (RS- 232)Experience with scripting languages such as Python and/or BashSolid understanding of OOP, basic Data Structures, and basic AlgorithmsExperience performing software installation and configurationExperience using PerforceMust be a US CitizenMust have or be able to obtain a Secret Security ClearanceDesired Skills:
Experience with Patriot Systems and/or Missile DefenseKnowledge of general Internet and network troubleshootingEducation and Experience:
Bachelor's degree and ten (10) years of more of related experience
