Job Summary:

The Product Owner is responsible for overseeing an assigned product of TIMS software. They will evaluate new features, maintain backlogs, develop & populate user stories with acceptance criteria and organize the work of the team. Additionally, the Product Owner will work cross functionally with sales, support and implementation teams. This is an exempt position reporting to the manager of the applicable development group.

Responsibilities & Duties:Work on the assigned product from inception to roll out and release.Understand the business needs and communicate the vision of the product to the development team.Create/write stories for the project as well as clear and concise acceptance criteria for user stories ensuring requirements are well defined and understandable.Develop and maintain a product backlog consisting of features in the form of stories. Maintain a priority ranking of stories ensuring it reflects the most valuable features and improvements for the product.Work with scrum master, programmers and testers to develop the product continually focusing on meeting the vision/goals.Review, provide feedback, and accept development team's completed work.Present updates on progress of project. Meet deadlines and complete scheduled work within budget and allotted time.Demonstrate new features to customers and prospects and assist sales team as needed.Assist with the successful execution of the annual users group conference. Will attend/participate and may present and/or assist with development of presentations.This position has leadership responsibilities but no formal supervisory duties.Required skills & abilities:

Understanding of software life cycle is beneficial.Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, computer science or the equivalent in business or software work experience is required.Knowledge of industrial or medical business practices required.Experience working in an Agile or Scrum environment preferred.Minimum of 3 years experience working with TIMS or comparable ERP software system.

Travel/Working Conditions

This job will be performed in our Billings, Montana office location. At the discretion of the manager, the duties may also be performed fully remote from within one of the states we operate, or hybrid. Remote individuals will be expected to travel to the office in Montana at least once per year.

Pay range and Benefits statement

- pay range $75,000 to $120,000 annually DOE. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401k, PTO and voluntary disability coverage.
