Counseling In Schools is currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Recruitment Assistant to join our Human Resources Team. The ideal candidate will support the recruitment process and assist with various HR functions, ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our HR department. This individual will serve as the liaison between external candidates and the organization and plays a key role in workforce administration, often serving as the primary contact for prospective employees assisting and managing their experience of the organization throughout the interview process.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment:

Utilize various channels, including job boards, social media, and professional networks, to source candidates.Review resumes and applications, and conduct initial screenings of candidates.Coordinate and schedule interviews and assessments.Oversee the background clearance process and ensure compliance.Input candidate data into the NYC Public Schools clearance system (PETS).Maintain constant updates on candidates in the recruitment pipeline.Constant coordination with the programming department on hiring needs throughout the year.

Candidate Management:

Maintain updated candidate databaseManage verbal and email candidate communication throughout the recruitment process in a timely manner.Coordinate interview schedules and provide necessary information to candidates.Gather and provide feedback to candidates, ensuring a positive experience.Perform reference checks

Onboarding Support:

Assist in new employee onboarding and orientation processes.Ensure completion of all pre-employment requirements by new hires.Management of HS and MS intern clearance and onboarding into the HRIS system

Recruitment Metrics and Reporting:

Track and analyze recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill positions and cost-per-hire.Prepare recruitment reports and dashboards for management review.Collaborate with the HR team on data analysis and reporting.

Additional Responsibilities:

Provide administrative support to the HR team as needed.Assistance with job recruitment and resource fairsMaintain proficiency in G Suite, HRIS, ATS systems, and document storage.

Job Qualifications:

G Suite proficiency for communication and collaboration.Strong written and verbal skills.Proficient in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) for efficient candidate management.Proficiency in document storage systems for organizing and accessing relevant HR materials.Proven ability to manage multiple projects/ tasks at the same time.Proven ability to perform under pressure and under tight deadlines.Customer service/customer-facing skills.Minimum of 2 years of HR-related experienceCompetent in workspace management softwareExperience with Paycom for HR and payroll management preferredRequirements:

Ability to report to our main office for a full-time position in midtown NYC (5 days per week)Must be able to travel within NYC as neededReports To: HR Director, Counseling In Schools

Compensation: Salary - $50,000 - $55,000 commensurate with experience
