The candidate will develop new services using modern Java on the server side, across internal and external clouds. This role involves full-service responsibility, from development to deployment, and global support for the Risk services stack in Equities technology.
Key Responsibilities:
Build event-based infrastructure for real-time systems using frameworks like Apache Kafka.Develop functions for processing, storing, and serving risk data and pricing inputs.Advocate for event-sourcing architectures.Skills & Experience:
Extensive server-side Java development (version 8+; version 17 preferred).Experience leading development teams and managing projects.Agile methodology expertise, CI tools (TeamCity, Jenkins), and Git proficiency.Familiarity with distributed systems.Highly Desirable:
Experience with Equity Derivatives, cloud infrastructure (GCP preferred), financial IT environments, and Python scripting.
