Description:
HigherEchelon is seeking motivated Software Developers to support The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Systems Engineering Department (SED) team in Patuxent River, MD.
This opportunity is contingent upon contract award.
Responsibilities:
•Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs.
•Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
•May work with computer hardware engineers to integrate hardware and software systems, develop specifications, and performance requirements.
•May maintain databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.
Required Skills:
•Experience working cross functionally
•Strong experience designing and developing computer and network software and solutions.
•Experience updating software or enhance existing software capabilities.Must be a US CitizenMust have an active Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one.
Education:
•Jr:
oTechnical or Scientific AS or AA degree.
o0-3 years of experience
•Journeyman:
oTechnical or Scientific BS or BA degree.
o3-9 years of experience
•Sr:
oTechnical or Scientific MS or MA degree.
oAt least ten (10) years of recent and relevant experience.
