Intake Note:
· **This position can be based in either Frisco, TX or Overland Park, KS.
· Shift the worker will be working - Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm for the first two weeks. Will decide the shift after that. The team does a rotating schedule every few months.
· We are looking for a candidate that is eligible for conversion to a FTW and no sponsorship will be provided.
· Interviews will be on site.
· They will be expected to work in Frisco, Tx or Overland Park, KS.
Description:
· This role is a subject matter expert in complex telecommunications networks and client processes.
· Job duties include testing, isolating faults, troubleshooting network and interface problems with transport vendors.
· This function may be called upon to work within all elements of the network which includes the backbone network, Cisco routers, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, Checkpoint firewalls, and A10 load balancers.
· This role will mentor, direct, and train other technicians to develop their skills, including fault identification, isolation, and resolution as well as performing system upgrades, changes, and verifying system operation.
· Requires competency in customer focus, change & innovation, strategic thinking, relationship building & influencing, talent management, results focus and inspirational leadership.
· Knowledgeable in advanced remote network surveillance and the ability to troubleshoot network outages.
