In your new role as a cyber security professional, you will protect our customer's most sensitive data and complex systems from all forms of threats including cyber-attacks, insider threats, rogue network devices, and malicious software and applications. You will work with a team of like-minded professionals to share and collaborate upon your ideas to improve the cybersecurity infrastructure, architecture, and configuration deployments. SkyePoint Decisions is seeking a Cybersecurity Certification and Accreditation (C&A) Analyst for a Defense Logistics Agency contract.This is a remote position but the candidate must be in proximity to a DLA site.Responsibilities:Serves as a cybersecurity Subject Matter Expert (SME) with regards to Authorization of information systems and all associated cybersecurity policies and procedures.
Performs a DOD cybersecurity process while either authorizing an information system or serving as a SME for an information system undergoing authorization.Determines the applicable severity value for an identified vulnerability (e.g., non-compliant security control), and determines the possible ramifications on the system's current or future authorization.Required to brief senior management on the progress or results of an information system undergoing the authorization process.Qualifications
Required Qualifications:Five (5) years of relevant C&A experience; Risk Management Framework (RMF) and NIST C&A experience; DOD cybersecurity experience.One of the following certifications: CISM, CISSP, GSLC or CCISO.Experience in assessing security controls and conducting authorization reviews for large, complex organizations.Fully versed in the general tenets supporting the overall DOD implementation of its authorization process, to include supporting cybersecurity policy, procedures and processes.Possess an understanding of how the security controls identified in the NIST 800-53 apply to the process of assessing and authorizing a large organization's IT infrastructure such as DLA's, in which there is a compilation of large and small enclaves, AIS applications and outsourced IT processes.Must be eligible for a Public Trust clearance.U.S. Citizenship is required.Preferred Qualifications:Active Secret clearanceExperience in the OT fieldDLA experienceWhat We Can Offer You -At SkyePoint, we go B.I.G. Flexible Work EnvironmentCompensation:Salary Range: $130,000-$150,000The SkyePoint Decisions salary range for this position is a general guideline only.
