Eagle Hill supports our people by offering a competitive compensation and benefits package, including 100 percent company paid health insurance premiums for employees and their eligible dependents.Job DescriptionEagle Hill is seeking a Senior Manager with a deep understanding of State and Local government operations and a strong network across Washington State and Local government entities to join our Washington State-based team working out of our Seattle office. The Senior Manager will play a key role in growing Eagle Hill's consulting practice in Washington State, including building and selling a pipeline of consulting work with new buyers. The Senior Manager will leverage both their understanding of State and Local government operations and experience across Eagle Hill's core service lines (strategic planning, organizational design, change management, human capital transformation, process improvement, and/or program management) to develop strategic and trusted client relationships, shape new opportunities, lead business development campaigns, develop proposals to sell new and follow-on work, and manage client relationships.The Senior Manager will also be expected to lead project engagements. Expectations for business development vs delivery responsibility will vary and will be based on business need.Upon joining the firm, a State and Local Senior Manager may join one or more client engagements that could fall within any of our State and Local accounts. Senior Managers are expected to demonstrate competency in solutioning within our service lines and in business development efforts. Specific responsibilities may vary and will be dependent on an employee's current project role, but the role of a Senior Manager in State and Local may include:Actively participate in helping Eagle Hill grow; play a lead role in developing State and Local new business through leveraging their existing State and Local network and exceptional client delivery.Adeptly formulating proposal "win themes" in showcasing value proposition for existing clients and prospective clients, probing on considerations such as competitive differentiation, understanding of Eagle Hill's strengths, and effectively articulating aligned solutions.Work collaboratively with State and Local clients to develop a deep understanding of business issues, create strategies to address their problems, and work alongside clients to implement those solutions.Lead one or more State and Local client projects and play a hands-on role in developing client solutions in strategy and performance, talent, and change management.Contribute to internal initiatives that build firm capability.Manage matrixed teams and client relationships.Mentor, coach, and professionally develop team members.Qualifications

What are the Required Qualifications?Bachelor's DegreeMinimum of 5 years' experience working for or with State and Local government entities in Washington State performing work aligned with Eagle Hill's core service lines (strategic planning, organizational design, change management, human capital transformation, process improvement, and/or program management).

At least 3 years in a manager role with direct report responsibility.Strong network across State and Local government entities within Washington State.Demonstrated business development experience successfully shaping and selling work.Proven track record in gaining client trust and building credibility.Demonstrated excellence presenting to an executive-level audience, both written and oral.Experience leading across multiple consulting engagements and developing and managing people, scope, budget, and schedule.History of successfully leading the development of solutions through strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Proven record in gaining client trust and building credibility by way of delivery excellence.Highly skilled in leading individual and team performance; experience developing others' management and leadership capabilities.Demonstrated leadership skills, including people development, team building, and conflict management.Flexible and adaptable, be a leadership role model for others at all times, and especially, during times of change and ambiguity.Proficient in MS Office, including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.Technical aptitude; able to quickly learn new technology platforms.Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.Ability to successfully complete and retain any company, federal, or other background investigations required to perform client work.What are the Desired Qualifications?Advanced degree in Business Administration or Public Administration.Entrepreneurial spirit and demonstrated "above and beyond" success in business development efforts yielding consistent growth in their field.Leadership experience within State and Local government a plus.Experience in developing new practice area in collaboration with multiple stakeholders.Compensation:
