IT Sr. BSA Job DescriptionThis position supports both Medical Affairs and Field Medical requirements processes forin-house developed or purchased IT systems to meet business needs. They will be responsiblefor working closely with our business partners and within IT to understand and help shape thestrategic drivers and tactical needs to successfully deliver an experience that is intuitive,scalable, and stable. This role also requires strong agile skills, especially the capability tofunction both as in the BSA and in the scrum master role.Responsibilities:The IT BSA will establish themselves as a "thought partner" with internal customersConducting 1:1 or group interviews and planning and facilitating workshops andend-user working sessions intended to surface requirements.Supporting the successful implementation of technical solutions by providing businessprocess analysis design, strategic vision, best practice research, detailedrequirements definition, user-centric functional design, vendor evaluations,systems assessments, and user acceptance testing facilitation.Support business partner on the development of Organizational Change Management(OCM) deliverablesParticipating in roadmap discussions and vendor assessmentsKeeping management apprised of developments through clear and timelycommunicationCollaborating with Project Managers, Architects, Engineers, Developers, and Designerson scope, solutions, constraints, and risksAnalyzing, documenting, and advising on current and future business process modelsAnalyzing and documenting high-level requirements (scope) and using Agilemethodology to document Epics and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.Show up with an enterprise mindset and ensure work is not being done in silos.Be a systems thinker and look at the big picture while determining the best solution.Requirements:7+ years business systems analysis and support experience with various types ofSoftware Development Life Cycle methodologies in an enterprise IT environmentProven agile mindset and scrum methodology experience working in both aScrum Master and BSA capacity.Strong experience with documenting Epics, User Stories and spikes using ascrum tool such as JIRA is a must. Confluence knowledge is a plus.Must be able to independently handle complex problems and work in a cross functionalenvironment with multiple stakeholders.Ability to rapidly understand business requirements and communicate businessexpectations to cross-functional technology development teams.Strong presentation and meeting facilitation skillsStrong analytical and problem solving skillsAdvanced English language skills, including Listening, Reading, Writing, and SpeakingDemonstrated ability to quickly learn the business in unfamiliar areasDemonstrated leadership skills and ability to directly mentor othersAble to work Pacific Standard Time business hoursPreferred Qualifications:5+ years' experience in Biotechnology or PharmaDemonstrated experience collaborating effectively across multiple customers and ITfunctionsLarge project implementation experience in a matrixed IT organization
