Summary of Job Functions
Participate and contribute to software design and architectureContinually review performance and collaborate with Sr. Software Engineers to recommend repairs of existing programs to increase operating efficiency or to adapt to new requirementsDocument detailed workflow charts and diagrams that describe input, output, and logical operation and convert them into a series of instructions coded in a computer languageContribute to instruction or manuals to guide end usersWork with Product Management, Users, and QA to ensure software meets requirementsParticipate in the deployment of software changes to QA and production environmentsMinimum Requirements
BS or MS in Computer Science5+ years of recent software development experience programming in C++ in a Linux environmentExperience with STL, Boost and multi-threadingKnowledge of performance tuning and code optimizationUnderstanding of SQL and / or experience working with large, complex data setsExperience working on software projects within a teamAbility to work onsite in our Jupiter, FL officePreferred Skills and Previous Experience
Experience in network/socket programming and distributed systemsStrong knowledge of software engineering principles and best practicesUnderstanding of unit and integration testing of complex software systemsFamiliarity with financial data and financial industry standards, concepts, and processesCompensation and Benefits
