We currently have a superb, employed with benefits full-time opportunity for an inpatient-based psychiatrist at our Alamance Regional Medical Center Burlington North Carolina. Close to the highly desired Chapel-Hill, Durham areas. Our location offers an excellent quality of life within easy driving distance to the Blue Ridge Mountains as well as the North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia beaches and a superb family/quality of life!Responsibilities:Physician shall provide full time, comprehensive inpatient services as well as leadership/mentoring in our geriatric psychiatry unit. Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders. Conducts thorough psychiatric evaluations, develops treatment plans, prescribes medication, and evaluates treatment results.Qualifications:Board Certification (adult psychiatry). North Carolina Medical License. Drug Enforcement Administration License. United States citizenship or Green Card. Will consider H1-B and J-1 on a case-by-case basis.
