Summary

The Analyst, West KD Operations will coordinate and monitor inbound traffic regarding the transportation of auto parts into U.S. manufacturing plants (Hyundai Motor Group Related Vendors and other 3PL vendors) with documentation, deliveries, and customs-related operations.

Compensation

$48,000- $55,000/Annually (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)

ResponsibilitiesProvide Ocean Inbound Operation Services and Customer Service

Daily coordination with customers & inquiriesFollow-up on urgent team truckingMonitor/ update ocean inbound schedules, services, and update vendors of any documentProvide daily follow up to inbound accounts (tracing reports twice a day, including weekends if needed) via phone and/or e-mailMonitor cargo data to confirm it is valid prior to sending notifications to customers Coordinate trucking (dispatching, tracking, tracing, prevention of detention/demurrage/Chassis, and other charges)Coordinate warehousing, storage, additional trucking, and final delivery to customers facilityManage/control with operations, customers, and truckers to minimize unnecessary costsForwarding all appropriate documentation (Bill of Ladings/Customs documentation, Arrival Notice) to customers and customs related departmentProvide status updates for customersEnsure all charges are billed correctly, including detention/demurrage/pre-pull/port open chargesProvide exceptional customer service

Daily Monitoring of Urgent Container Moves

Monitor inbound containers for timely release and provide status updatesMonitor and support container moves

Timely AR/AP Process for Both Local and Overseas Agents

Process AR/AP invoices and create reports for the accounting departmentPrepare GLOVIS Korea settlement reports, reconcile data weekly and monthlyManage aging invoicesProcess AR in HMM & ONE portal for Mobis CNT door move regarding Riverside/Ontario/Brea location. Bill accessories charges to Mobis. Once all AR/AP have been completed transfer to SAP and request AR/AP posting with Glovis ATL.

Maintain Data Updates in Operations System

Regularly maintain updates in the operation system (Genisys)Maintain database/record-keeping in the system (shipment tracing data )
