ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Developer to join our AI Data Center team, working on the cutting edge of the energy and high density supercomputing industry. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in applied mathematics, including statistics, probability theory, game theory, computer science, numerical analysis, and economics. This role involves designing, developing, and implementing complex models and algorithms to support origination, engineering, trading strategies, and risk management.
Key ResponsibilitiesModel Development: Design and implement quantitative models for trading strategies, risk management, and portfolio optimization.Algorithm Development: Develop and refine trading algorithms using statistical and machine learning techniques.Data Analysis: Perform extensive data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in financial markets.Software Engineering: Develop high-performance, scalable software solutions for quantitative analysis and trading systems.Backtesting: Conduct backtesting and simulation of trading strategies to evaluate performance and robustness.Collaboration: Work closely with traders, quantitative researchers, and other developers to integrate models into production environments.Research: Stay abreast of the latest developments in quantitative finance, machine learning, and software engineering to continually enhance the firm's capabilities.ABOUT YOU
Qualifications
Bachelor's, Master's, and/or Ph.D. in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Financial Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience as a Quantitative Developer or in a similar role in quantitative finance.Hands-on experience with trading systems, algorithm development, and statistical modeling.Experience in software development, particularly with languages such as Python, C++, Java, or Scala.Familiarity with distributed systems, cloud computing, and high-performance computing environments.Skills
Strong proficiency in data analysis and statistical techniques.Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and their application in finance.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Entrepreneurial and driven: runs through walls to get it done, and a track record of high efficiency/output.Strong communication skills and ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.A strong orientation towards outcomes, and a willingness to roll up your sleeves and get the job done. This is not a standard 9-5 role, and a successful candidate will be expected to be available outside of normal working hours.Passionate about energy, data centers, and next generation computing.
