Position Overview:

The Riverside Research Software Applications Team (SWAT) is seeking a full-time TS/SCI cleared senior software engineer for developing, integrating, and deploying software applications. Experience with Scrum (or similar agile software development methodologies), as well as familiarity with continuous integration/continuous testing/continuous delivery processes and tools, is essential. Candidates must be technically proficient and have real-word experience devising practical and sustainable solutions.The SWAT is an innovative team of experienced software professionals who develop and deploy valuable (i.e., useful, usable, used) and desirable software solutions at the speed of relevancy. If you are familiar with Working Genius, we are looking for individuals who get energy from Tenacity and Enablement (i.e., Working Genius is T&E).If our mission and work culture resonate with you, we invite you to apply.All Riverside Research opportunities require U.S. citizenship.Must live in or relocate to a commutable distance to Wright Patterson Airforce Base and surrounding areas. 2- 3 days in the office.Responsibilities:Design, build, containerize, and test software applicationsDesign and define API specifications for high performance, scalability, and availabilityCode, debug, test and support utilities, tools, and frameworks to support the application development processDocument test cases, expected test results, test data requirements, and collaborate with testing teams and business partners to resolve testing problemsConfigure build pipelines, perform static and dynamic security analysis, and store build artifacts including container images and deployment scripts in artifact repositoriesPerform continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD)Identify and research issues with applications and recommend/implement solutionsPerform research on the state-of-the-art and applicability of software solutionsOther duties as assigned as pertains to software developmentQualifications:

Top Secret clearance with SCI adjudicationBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or other major field of study (equivalent relevant experience considered in lieu of degree)10 or more years of experience in developing full-stack applications10 or more years of experience in at least one major programming language (i.e., Java, Python, C#/C++, JavaScript)Experience with designing, creating, and consuming REST APIs and documenting using Swagger and OpenAPI specificationExperience with Linux/UnixExperience performing CI/CD and using applications like GitLab, Jenkins, Docker, and Nexus 3Experience building OCI compliant container imagesExperience working on deployment environments including virtual machinesExperience performing agile software developmentSelf-motivated, detail oriented, responsible team player able to work independently with minimal daily direction; effective/efficient written/verbal communication skillsAbility to work and interact with technically and organizationally diverse personnelDesired Qualifications:Master's Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or other major field of studyExperience using container orchestration applications including KubernetesExperience with graph databasesExperience in implementing artificial intelligence servicesExperience working/developing in multi-domain, multi-cloud, hybrid-cloud environmentsExperience deploying applications on SIPRNet and JWICSExperience testing code/applications using current best practices and toolsExperience working with cloud environments like AWS and/or AzureScrum training/certification from Scrum AllianceSecurity+ training/certification CompTIAGlobal Comp:$113,000- $170,000 This represents the typical compensation range for this position based on experience, location and other factors.
