Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Loader and Processing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately loading and processing data into our litigation software, ensuring that all data is properly formatted, stored, and retrievable for legal analysis and case management.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Loading:

- Import and load diverse data sets (e.g., documents, emails, images) into litigation software, ensuring accuracy and adherence to best practices.

- Verify data integrity and quality throughout the loading process.

2.

Data Processing:

- Format, clean, and prepare data for ingestion into litigation systems, including electronic discovery platforms.

- Utilize tools and scripts to automate and streamline data processing when possible.

3.

Quality Control:

- Conduct regular audits of data loaded into systems to ensure compliance and resolve any discrepancies.

- Collaborate with legal teams to understand specific data requirements for ongoing litigation matters.

4.

Maintenance and Documentation:

- Maintain accurate records of data loading processes, methodologies, and challenges encountered.

- Create and update documentation related to data processing workflows and best practices.

5.

Technical Support:

- Provide support and troubleshooting related to data access and usage of litigation software.

- Liaise with IT and software vendors to address technical issues and optimize software performance.

6.

Collaboration:

- Work closely with paralegals, attorneys, and other stakeholders to gather data requirements and ensure timely data delivery for case preparation.

- Participate in team meetings and contribute to project planning related to data management and software enhancements.

Qualifications:

Required:

- Must be able to obtain and maintain Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT) facility credentials/authorization.

- Note: US Citizenship is required for MRPT facility credentials/authorization at this work location.

- Requires knowledge of litigation discovery process, and the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) workflow.

- Knowledge of Government’s IT environment, including office automation networks, PC and server based applications preferred.

- Working knowledge of personal computers, including Windows, document review software, and encryption methods.

- Must have experience with LAW, IPRO, Relativity or other document processing platforms

- Familiarity with litigation software (e.g., Relativity, Concordance, CaseGuard) and electronic discovery processes.

- Proficient in data management tools and techniques, with strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.

- Must have at least two years’ experience performing eDiscovery roles including but not limited to electronic files processing (EFP), image and data file conversion, data culling using review tools, quality assurance, database loads and retrieval, and data analysis.

Preferred:

Undergraduate degree preferred-preferably in computer science or related field.

- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.

- A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn new technologies and processes.
