A top-tier independent investment bank seeks a

Salesforce Mobile Application Architect

to join its internal CRM development team. The ideal candidate will be an expert in the internal architecture of the Salesforce mobile application, capable of writing detailed technical stories and guiding the team in the implementation of custom mobile user experiences. While a strong development background is preferred, it is not required. This role focuses on architectural design, with development being executed by other team members. Candidates who only have declarative (configuration) experience with the Salesforce mobile app should not apply.This work can be done remotely, with occasional travel to New York City and Houston required.Key ResponsibilitiesArchitectural Design : Lead design discussions of Salesforce mobile application architecture, providing guidance to our development team on any platform differences (iPhone, Android, iPad)Collaboration with UX Team : Work closely with the User Experience team to interpret wireframes and functional specifications, documenting implementation specs that balance UX requirements with mobile channel limitationsTechnical Story Development : Convert mobile UX designs into a set of comprehensive technical stories to support project requirements, which will be delivered by our development teamImplementation SME : Advise on the implementation of custom user experiences on the mobile platform, balancing these with the limitations and constraints of the Salesforce mobile application architectureLWC Design : Participate in Lightning Web Component (LWC) design sessionsRequired Qualifications

Technical Expertise : In-depth knowledge of Salesforce mobile application architecture and platform-specific nuances (5+ years)Experience : Previous experience in implementing custom mobile UX on Salesforce, including knowledge of limitations and workarounds (5+ years)Sales Cloud : Strong understanding of the Sales Cloud product (2 years)UX Collaboration : Proven ability to work with UX teams (2 years)Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skillsDevOps Knowledge : Basic understanding of DevOps best practices and Enterprise GitTeam Collaboration : Available to collaborate during business hours (9am-3pm ET at a minimum)Salesforce Certifications : Platform Dev I/II, JS Developer, or other advanced technical certificationPreferred Qualifications

FSC Experience : Familiarity with Financial Services Cloud (FSC) data and security modelsMicrosoft Ecosystem Experience : Azure DevOps (ADO), Office, Teams, developer toolsLWC Skills : Proficiency in designing LWCs, preferably for mobile channelsDevelopment Skills : Previous experience working as a Salesforce developerGrid Solutions : Exposure to custom grid solutions, such as Bryntum or AG Grid
