Northrop Grumman Space Systems—Launch and Missile Defense Systems has an exciting career opportunity for a Sr Principal Technical Services Project Management – Project Engineer (24-077) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be in the Colorado Springs, CO, area.
Position Overview:
The Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program integrates the Missile Defense System. It is a vital operational system that enables the U.S. president, secretary of defense, and combatant commanders at strategic, regional, and operational levels to systematically plan ballistic missile defense operations, to see the battle develop collectively, and to dynamically manage designated networked sensors and weapons systems to achieve global and regional mission objectives.
The Project Engineer will work with Task Order 60 (TO60) Leadership to manage, coordinate, and oversee the Cross-Agile Release Train and Cross-Functional Product Team efforts associated with TO 60 projects, TO60 contract proposals, and Mods. In this role, the selected candidate will support the planning and executing technical scope, schedule, and cost inputs for changes, ECPs, and other customer engineering estimate requests. This individual will support the development of TO60 IMS objective evidence and the collection of IMS status accounting and will support cross-spiral de-confliction, Functional Area coordination, and schedule/resource issue resolution.
Essential Functions:
Proven leadership abilities to manage, coordinate, and oversee Cross-Functional Area efforts associated with the sustainability and Development lifecycle management.
Experience with project planning, cost, schedule & performance.
Previous experience with development programs and deployment execution activities.
Basic Qualifications:
An active Secret clearance is required to start.
9 years with a Bachelor’s degree in a related field; 13 years experience in lieu of a degree.
Must have work experience with Planning, Scheduling, Project Management, and EVMS.
Must have Systems Engineering, Software Development, and Deployment experience.
Must be experienced in developing and managing project teams and schedules.
Must have experience in Development Lifecycle and knowledge of spiral development processes.

$121,000 - $181,400
