Responsibilities:
Oracle Applications DBA
Multitenant Databases
Oracle Middleware (Web Server)
Oracle EBS and Oracle Recovery Manager (RMAN)
NetApp, and Veritas NetBackup
Install, patch, upgrade, configure, tune, and maintain the Oracle E-business Suite 12.2.x and 12c/19c Oracle database
Serve as day-to-day technical lead for developers enhancements or problem resolutions
Analyze, design, develop, test and implement application enhancements
Manage EBS instances on the Oracle Public Cloud
Troubleshooting and resolving Application and Database issues
Ensure database standards and controls are maintained
Plan, enhance and execute database monitoring and alerts
Clone Oracle applications and databases as needed to support development and testing efforts
Deploy code and setup changes to production
Participate in system administration and operational support (e.g., maintenance and support, reviewing and analyzing system logs and problem reports, adds, changes, backups, and file restores) and assist in monitoring of the system's performance and capacity planning
Evaluates and implements new technologies, products and tools used in the application development environment
Analyze performance issues in the application, concurrent manager and database tiers of E-Business Suite installations
Manage resources to provide assistance to development teams with tuning database queries, reviewing and testing patches, configuration and code migrations
Develop purging, archiving, and cloning strategies
Manage relationship with customers to understand customer and project needs and priorities
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in IT related field desired
Experience in administering Oracle EBS, Oracle Database, RMAN, Linux/Unix Operating Systems
Experience with cloning and patch Oracle Applications 12.2.x
Proficiency with Shell scripting
Active Security clearance required
