Functions Technology mission is to optimize Citi's Technology environment by delivering world class applications, driving standardization of the production environment, reducing complexity, optimizing management of systems supporting global functions such as Compliance, Controls, Internal Audit and Risk, and introducing innovative technologies that provide new business capabilities, reduce the technology total cost of ownership, and create a competitive advantage for Citi.The IT Project Tech Lead is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Recognized technical authority for an area within the business. Requires basic commercial awareness. There are typically multiple people within the business that provide the same level of subject matter expertise. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables. Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business. Work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family.Responsibilities:Own and develop the product / value stream vision which will be the north star for driving strategic outcomes for the Scrum Team(s) supportedInspire the team to deliver upon the goalsLead the product functional design process and create the product roadmap based upon an intimate knowledge of the users and technologyWork in an agile environment by continuously reviewing the business needs, refining priorities, outlining milestones and deliverables, and identifying opportunities and risksCreate features and functionalities which enable achievement of business goals by collaborating with stakeholdersCreate and own the product backlog prioritizing features which enable maximizing the business valueFacilitate backlog decomposition sessions with the technology teams to clearly define requirements from a user perspective, inclusive of acceptance criteria breaking down large stories for the team to consume in one sprintParticipate in the testing /review sessions and provide support for releaseAccept the work completed by the team prior to release to productionTrack and report product performance post-launch to evaluate / request future investmentCreate strong feedback loops by leading the agile events seeking continuous feedback from stakeholders and incorporate in the backlog to achieve the desired outcomesDevelop the culture of using OKRs to ensure team members align on the purpose of the work and cascade feedback related to risk and dependenciesParticipate in Scrum events representing the Product, and alignment with the Product Manager visionQualificationsBachelors degree or equivalent with customer centric mindset to focus on client needs5+ years working in agile culture with 3+ years of relevant experience working as a Product Owner preferably in banking domainDemonstrated ability to prioritize the items that maximize business value while receiving requests from multiple stakeholders at the same timesPossess excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders and team members to drive collaboration and alignmentExcellent problem solving and decision-making skillsIn depth analytical skills with the ability to synthesize findingsSuccessful track record of developing products within deadlines and commitmentsDemonstrated experience facilitating collaborative sessions, managing customer expectations, and ensuring work is aligned with the enterprise goals and objectives.AML Monitoring experience is a plus.------------------------------------------------------Job Family Group:Technology
