Pediatric Endocrinologist

to join its Pediatrics department. The practice office located in Ridgewood locations. The Pediatric Endocrinology program at Valley takes a patient-focused, evidence-based medicine approach for managing patients with general endocrine diseases with majority of diabetes and thyroid disease. Pediatricians in the group stay up to date on the latest treatments, guidelines, and technology to treat endocrine disorders. Ideal candidate will be hard working, flexible, team player with excellent communication, critical thinking, analytical, and relationship building skills who enjoys a nonacademic, dynamic, community-based office and hospital setting. Pediatrician will care of children ages 0-18 years Pediatrician will work with VMG leadership to build and market a Pediatrics Endocrinology program. Direct the activities of the medical staff and ensure that clinical services are delivered safely and appropriately within the guidelines established by Valley Medical Group Ambulatory Care and JCAHO. Establishes appropriate care plans for children and refers to VMG specialists as appropriate. Always demonstrates and models service excellence behavior and leads efforts for monitoring and improving patient/family experience. Responds with concern, cooperation, and respect. Establishes cooperative working relationships with all individuals with whom contact is made. Delegates clinical tasks appropriate to the level of training of each staff member. Ensures the professional development of self and team. Participates in the practices on-call schedules as needed. Is available for emergency calls from VMG staff or physicians. Promotes and practices economical and effective healthcare. Work on clinical projects and initiatives at the request of the VMG Chair of Children Services. Education: NJ State Medical License Unrestricted license to practice medicine in New Jersey required. Board Certification in Pediatric Diabetics, Metabolism and Endocrinology BLS, PALS certification required. Maintains CME credit hours as required for Board Certification and/or hospital staff privileges.
