Job Description:As a Business System Analyst, you will be responsible for implementing Agile practices, including story writing and requirements gathering. You will deliver written project deliverables and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Key Responsibilities:
Work as a business systems analyst on medium to large projectsCommunicate and collaborate with Agile delivery teams, technical staff, business partners, and vendorsDefine and capture project requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteriaWrite UAT test scripts from use cases and perform UAT testingIdentify and document project risks and actions to mitigate themTrack requirements throughout the SDLC lifecycleUtilize Microsoft Office 365 Suite, ADO, JIRA, and Confluence effectivelyAnalyze and use logic and reasoning to assess alternative solutions and approachesMeet deadlines with minimal direct supervisionDemonstrate excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:
Proven experience as a business systems analyst for medium to large projectsAbility to communicate and collaborate with Agile delivery teams and other stakeholdersSkilled in defining and capturing project requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteriaProficient in writing UAT test scripts and performing UAT testingExperience identifying and documenting project risks and actions for mitigationStrong track record in tracking requirements throughout the SDLC lifecycleProficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Suite, ADO, JIRA, and ConfluenceStrong analytical skills with the ability to use logic and reasoning to evaluate solutionsAbility to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervisionExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong organizational skills and attention to detailElection experience is preferredPreferred certifications include Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or SAFe certifications
The hourly range for roles of this nature are $45.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
