Overview

LMI is seeking a skilled

Product Owner,

to support Analytical support for Ground Data Networks as part of LMI's support to the Spectrum Warfare Analytical Center (and U.S. Space Force). A successful candidate will demonstrate competency in understanding technical and architectual aspects of Space Operations, specifically as they are dependent upon the Grounded portion of the architecture supporting Space Data Networks, Space Sensors, and provision of Position, Navigation, and Timing. Other skills that would lend to success include relationship management (customer facing and stakeholder) while upholding the highest standards of ethical behavior. The candidate will collaborate with software developers, Operational Analysts, Data Scientists, Mathemeticians, other product owners, customers, and senior leaders to support the construction of the most current space capabilities, and recommendations for where to commit additional resources to provide highly-reliable and capable servies to the warfighter. As well, internal communications are critical to ensuring that the RAPTR analytical environment remins fully functional, represents the absolute best tools, and that an improvement for one team, is an improvement for all. Leading the vision for the product by prioritizing and overseeing the team, collaborating with myriad internal and external stakeholders and ensuring that the GDN team is delivering products of maximum value to our customers

Manage complex technical projects ensuring that goals, requirements, and outcomes are defined and that the appropriate resources are allocatedMonitor team performance to ensure that projects are implemented, supported, and closed accurately and in accordance with key milestones and established project standards are upheld and clearly defined throughout the entire process of each project's development and executionFoster positive working relationships with team, client personnel, business owners, customers, and leadership counterpartsConsistently work with customers / users to get and apply feedback to improve customer experienceManage and prioritize the team backlog and tasks, set deadlines, and assign resources to each projectTrack schedule and performance, as well as prepare documents and inform project specific policy, procedures, and report status to all levelsPrepare briefing charts, schedule meetings, keep records and record minutes, prepare after-action reports in support of technical reviewsHelp the team develop user stories and define featuresWork with LMI and LMI business partners to pursue new business opportunity

Qualifications

Required SkillsBachelor's degree or higherAt least 5 years of experienceExperience with technical management and Agile practicesSuccessful experience managing technical and functional staffAdvanced understanding of Project Management processes, strategies, and methodsExperience writing and understanding business requirementsSuperior communication skills, both oral and writtenStrong problem solving and analytical skillsExcellent time management and organizational skills and experience establishing guidelines in these areas for othersMust have the ability to obtain a TS/SCI + clearanceDesired SkillsMaster's degree or higherExperience working with the Space domainPrior experience running projects of similar size and scopePMP Certification or other equivalent certificationTarget salary range: $104,000 - $183,000.
