About the Application Specialist:

The primary responsibility of the Application Specialist is to supportall operational aspects of the organization's specialized systems. We arelooking to hire a technically proficient individual who can proactively managea wide range of application platforms, provide user training, and become thesubject matter expert for most of our specialized systems. Success in this rolerequires excellent problem-solving skills, effective communication, and astrong proficiency in application support. The ideal candidate will havein-depth knowledge of Cloud/SaaS applications, on-premises architectures,training best practices for diverse audiences, and best practices insoftware/UX development. The scope and priorities of this position will bedefined by the Data Integration and Process Automation Engineer, in alignmentwith IT departmental and organizational priorities. This role will have IT liaison priorities setby Business Intelligence and Marketing/Communication leadership.

This position's expected level of interaction with all DNA departmentswill be governed through the creation of IT Service Requests by both IT andnon-IT resources, in support of departmental and project objectives. As an active IT Team member, this position'sduties include mandatory participation in proactive management of IT ServiceRequests on a rotating on-call schedule, during off-hour time periods.

Responsibilities:

Working with organizational stakeholders to support key departmental products and applications.Working with vendors to install, upgrade and maintain key departmental products and applications.Training users on how to use key departmental products and applications.Providing guidance to users on how to use key departmental products and applications.Working with in-house development teams on the development and support of internally developed applications.Act as an IT liaison to key departments / committee's whose key departmental products and applications they support.Understands best practices around UI/UX Development to improve overall user experienceFamiliar with Low Code/No Code solutions when generating user reports/interfaces.Understanding on how to Support flexible meeting architecture utilizing teams and in - house AV equipmentAdvance understanding of IT Troubleshooting workflows and how to identify root cause analysis.Understanding of Telephony architectures, and how to support advance call flows and hunt groups.Participates in 24 x 7 x 365 On-Call IT resource rotation schedule to field IT Service Requests from users related to workflow stoppage of production systems while maintaining alignment with well-defined executive management service objectives.Follows established change control processes to implement planned changes to production and non-production systems.Follows established SCRUM process to iterate/enhance current integrations/developments within the organization as guided by Data Integration and Process Automation Engineer.Ethically handles and adheres to regulatory compliance of private data, including financial and/or healthcare data.

Qualifications:

Minimum EducationBachelor's degree in Information Technology, ComputerScience, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent detailedInformation Technology experience in progressively complex systems integrationand process automation environments

Minimum Experience6+ years of relevant work experience supporting End Userwith specialized applications.4+ years ofexperience with Microsoft Windows Server OS and its components2+ years ofexperience with Salesforce systems.2+ years of Supporting AV systems with advanced room functionality.2+ years of Experience with Teams meetings.1-2+ years (basiclevel) of UI/UX development practicesKnowledgeof enterprise architecture, systems architecture, integration architecture anddata architecture standards, frameworks, and practicesFamiliar with developing a Knowledgebase and leveragematerials to provide resources for all staff.Knowledge of LowCode/No Code tools like SSRS, Adalo, Bubble, Zapier, etc.basic operationalunderstanding of VMWare and VSphere server virtualization tools (ESXiHypervisor, vCenter Server, etc.)Understanding ofrelational and dimensional data modeling techniquesExperiencewith Cloud/SaaS applications, APIs, SDK of packaged and legacy applications.Familiaritywith SoQL or SQL languages a plus.Familiaritywith JavaScript, PHP, Python languages a plus.
