Position Summary:

Sugpiat Defense is seeking a Project Manager/Information Assurance Lead to support a new Federal Client. We are focused on delivering innovative operations and solutions through proven successful methods. The ideal applicant is versatile, with a broad background and demonstrated ability to produce quality work. You must be comfortable in a challenging, collaborative, multi-tasking, dynamic, high-tempo, deadline-intensive environment

Responsibilities and

Essential Job Functions:

Serve as the Project Manager for a team supporting a federal client in the greater Washington DC metro area.Lead a team performing cybersecurity and network support operations in a dynamic work environment for a great customer team.Conduct vulnerability assessments of the assigned infrastructure, vulnerability mitigation recommendations, risk assessment, and security architecture reviews.Research, develop, test, implement, and document all approved changes by the priorities established by the task manager.Evaluate the existing centralized logging network capabilities, forensic procedures, as well as, certification and accreditation procedures. Activities must be documented with results, products, and processes in high-quality reports and sent to the customer for review.Research and analyze technology problems, issues, and program requirementsScan and monitor assigned systems daily using Tripwire, tenable, and web inspect. Develop reports using the raw data collected and present findings at the weekly Information Assurance Meeting.Report security violations to customers as soon as they are discovered.Produce specific documentation and user guides.Utilize proper judgment and provide a high level of customer support professionally.Conduct professionally all personal interactions with customers and with the team.Qualifications

CISSP certificationAbility to obtain/maintain an active DoD Top Secret clearance5+ years of understanding internet architectures and firewall configurations to protect system security5+ years working with end users to determine the needs of individual departments5+ years developing IT security policies and standards5+ years supporting Certification and Accreditation activities for DoD and Federal systems using the NIST Special Publications 800-37, the DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP), and the DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF)5+ years supporting Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) related programs5+ years supporting IT-related projects
