Lead Agile Coach at Humana in Boise, Idaho, United States Job Description Become a part of our caring community and help us put health first The Lead Agile Coach coaches, educates and mentors organizational leaders and their teams to instill a scaled, successful enterprise-wide adoption of Agile methodologies and practices including Scrum, Kanban and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). The Lead Agile Coach works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial. This job requires working Eastern time zone hours. Seeking a seasoned Lead Agile Coach to enhance team and Agile Release Train (ART) performance, flexibility, and responsiveness to change. Responsibilities include mentoring and developing Release Train Engineers (RTEs) as coaches, identifying and nurturing internal change champions, and supporting communities of practice (CoP) for major SAFe roles. The role involves creating tools and leading training sessions to demonstrate how business and technology leaders and associates will apply Agile methodologies in their day-to-day work. Guides one or more segments through change transition and drives continued adherence to optimal Agile work practices. Promotes a culture of innovation by implementing Agile processes and principles, including techniques to increase collaboration, predictability, transparency, and velocity. May provide ongoing iteration management for high-profile initiatives to offer real-time coaching and gather and share Agile best practices across the enterprise. Advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment-specific) on matters of significance. Exercises independent judgment and decision-making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, working under minimal supervision. Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action. Use your skills to make an impact Requires practical experience in at least two SAFe roles, participation in at least two Agile transformations at large companies, and a current SAFe Practice Consultant (SPC) certification. Additional qualifications include one or more coaching certifications from the International Consortium for Agile (IC-Agile), Scrum Alliance, and/or Project Management Institute (PMI). Exceptional listening skills, a practical approach to coaching, and the ability to influence appropriate change are essential. Understanding the impact of a series of small changes is greater than one big change is crucial.
