OVERVIEW
Hendall is seeking an experienced Medical Records Director with experience and subject matter expertise with ensuring adherence with the medical record request and receipt functions of the program. The Medical Records Director shall be in direct communication with the Program Director and provide technical assistance.
Please note this is a full-time, remote position.
This position will support Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) which serves the public as a trusted partner and steward, dedicated to advancing health equity, expanding coverage, and improving health outcomes.
The Medical Records Director shall possess a combination of experience and qualifications meeting the following criteria:
A minimum of three years of supervisory/managerial experience related to file and record management
A minimum of five years general related experience, which includes experience with electronic medical records and the electronic transmission of medical records
Certification as a Registered Health Information Administrator
Knowledge and working experience with the Medicare program (Preferred)
Education and Certification:
Bachelor's degree, or master's degree from an accredited institution and in a field of study that can be reasonably interpreted to perform tasks related to this position
