Provide technical leadership and strategic direction to the Testing team and OrganizationArchitecting, developing, and maintain an innovative test automation system for the organizationDefine automated test criteria, designs & develops the organization's Test Automation framework and develops automated tests for all functionality that meets specified automation criteriaWorks closely with the application architects to develop a solid testing solution, working towards the future state of the application architectureLead complex test automation efforts using Cucumber/Selenium and Java for large Agile software projects and identify innovative solutions to solve complex test problemsWorks collaboratively in a team-based Agile environment with other technical staff and business owners and subject matter experts, that follow the industry standard Scrum and SAFe methodologies.Assist in the training/mentoring of team members, including testers, developers, and business analysts and implement organization-wide Quality Process initiatives to ensure Quality of deliverablesCommunicate automation goals, priorities, and status across the organizationDefine Behavior Driven Development approach and tools for Automated Testing in an Agile projectPartner with Agile Release Train to plan for new functionality, resolve defects, and incorporate error injection test methodologiesBasic Qualifications:Minimum knowledge, skills, abilities needed.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related discipline and 7 years of applied work experience OR Master's degree and 5 years of relevant work experience OR a minimum of 11 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree6 years of experience with automation testing, developing and executing automated test scripts using Automated Testing Tools (such as Selenium, Cucumber etc.)3 years of hands on experience using Selenium and Cucumber1 year of experience architecting, developing, and maintaining an innovative test automation environment including automation test framework design and development2 years of experience with agile development (preferably SAFe), test driven development, advanced concepts of scrum, and knowledge of agile project tools, such as VersionOneMinimum of 1 year of experience in analyzing metrics, identify dysfunctions, and make recommendations to senior management
