is seeking a

Power BI Senior Developer/Data Analyst

to join our Business Operations team located at our corporate office in Newburgh, Indiana.

The Power BI Senior Developer/Data Analyst will be responsible for developing, managing, and supporting advanced data analytics and reporting solutions using Power BI. The Power BI Senior Developer will coordinate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements; work with Technology Operations staff to enable the appropriate data sources and models, and ultimately build the required dashboard providing insights that drive business decisions. Additionally, this role will be responsible for quality assurance testing of dashboards, evaluate dashboard performance and Power BI capacity impacts. The ideal candidate will have significant experience with Power BI development, a strong background in data analysis, and the ability to translate complex data into clear and actionable insights.

This role will require a candidate with strong communication, analytical, sound decision making, and critical thinking capabilities to implement and refine data visualizations resulting in improved end-user utilization of KPIs. This individual must be self-motivated and able to work independently but must also be able to interface directly with various knowledge bases and practical application of KPIs to drive operational excellence. The selected individual will be responsible for completing assigned tasks on time and within budget. As well as manage assigned work in a professional and timely manner and perform other related duties as assigned.

The essential functions of the position include:

Power BI Development:

Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations that effectively communicate business insights.

Create and optimize data models using Power BI, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and efficiency.

Develop DAX queries and functions to enhance report functionality.

Data Analysis:

Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and correlations within large datasets.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Provide ad-hoc data analysis and reporting to support various business needs.

Data Integration:

Integrate data from multiple sources, including databases, cloud services, and APIs, into Power BI.

Ensure data is properly cleansed, transformed, and loaded into Power BI models.

Design, implement, and maintain high-level data visualizations of real-time key performance indicators.

Monitor data reporting utilization and end-user usage

Conduct strict data quality evaluations and data reporting quality control measures

Provide recommendations and adherence to continuous improvement mindset

Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical customers both internal and external.

Works to secure and maintain relevant professional certifications and licenses.

Adheres to the strict safety standards of ESG and Federal clients.

Your background includes:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field

Minimum of 8 years of experience in business intelligence, data warehousing, or analytics.

Proven experience in developing Power BI dashboards and reports

Strong experience with DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and Power Query

A bonus to have:

Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate or equivalent certification is highly desirable

Experience with Business or Marketing Analytics or Data science related work
