Job description

Pronovias Group, world leader in the bridal industry, is currently looking for an experienced Alterations Manager for our store located in Beverly Drive.

We are seeking a self-motivated individual with excellent technical sewing and fitting skills, who has expertise in tailoring bridal garments to ensure the best fit possible.

Main responsibilities:

The Alterations Manager assists in recruiting and interviewing alterations specialists; trains, coaches, and motivates alterations specialists to provide superior customer service and meet sales plans. Ensure alterations customers receive a consistently superior shopping experience and high-quality alterations within the stated time frame. Supervise the duties of all alterations associates, including alterations specialists, alterations CSRs, and pressers. Assist the alterations department by sewing, steaming, pressing, and spot cleaning merchandise as needed. Ensure fitting and sewing are performed to Pronovias standards and timings. Allocate garments on the work line to alterations specialists as needed to maintain maximum productivity. Ensure new alterations specialists are trained to Pronovias techniques and standards. Ensure all alterations policies and procedures are followed, including the Pronovias price lists for all alterations. Ensure all administrative duties are executed in a timely manner, including the completion and submission of required paperwork. Maintain and assist the store manager in enforcing all Pronovias safety standards. Maintain machines in good working order; report needed repairs via facilities requests. Support the store manager as needed with the completion of the alterations schedule for store manager approval. Assist when necessary on the sales floor and help wedding consultants/dress specialists close sales. Meet with the store manager weekly to discuss business and ensure profitability in the workroom.

Requirements

We are looking for someone with consolidated experience in managing alterations departments or made-to-measure workshops in the premium or luxury segment. Knowledge of the bridal or occasionwear industry is a plus.

It is essential to be a positive person, passionate about delivering an excellent customer experience, results-oriented, a strong team player, and a great problem solver.

You will also demonstrate excellent communication skills, and knowledge of different languages will be positively valued.
